The work of Hely Reuter is not circumscribed to the reproduction of her father’s photographs. To recognize his memory and his work, she has designed works that intend to be memorial objects of loved ones, and like her former works: The suitcase of Walter, The Camera case of Walter Reuter, and other marvelous productions, this Camera Box adds the list of these very attractive objects.

In this Camera Box of her father’s Rolleiflex Camera, Hely incorporates three booklets: one picturing his father’s memory with images from his life and two more of two indigenous groups from Mexico which were not only his most cherished images, but who were his adopted families through his long life.

His remains lie under a tree within the beloved indigenous community spaces as he wished them to be. Walter Reuter archive is in care of her daughter Hely Reuter in her home in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
