The typefaces are Berthold Wolpe’s Pegasus and Albertus types cast at the Berliner typefoundry in 1986. The text was hand-set and printed on vintage Fabriano Umbria handmade paper using a Vandercook proof press. Six Songs is pamphlet-sewn into Fabriano Ingres wrappers designed by Christopher Stinehour and printed on a Heidelberg automatic cylinder press by Jonathan Gerken.
