*This book is on loan for an exhibition. If you would like to purchase this book, please contact us for more information*
text: Josep Maria Mallarach / poet: Laia Llobera
The book talks about the Garrotxa volcanoes,(North East Spain), so it is presented as a volcano itself. Opening the box, we find the bound book signatures printed in a complete magma pochoir. Mallarach, the author, was the first director of the first Spanish National Park, created after a long fight with the government. He explains how the process was trying to stop the extraction that was happening in the heart of the volcanoes region.
The second part of the book talks about how as human beings we are ending the earth’s natural resources and destroying what we should preserve. Also offers some solutions and thoughts on what we should be doing.
