Pathern

Pathern was created out of an effort to produce a cohesive narrative from of the ever-flowing river of randomness inside a brain in the spectrum, such as mine. Out in the bike path, the city manholes I surveyed and portrayed don’t form much of a coherent message, or necessarily engage in dialogues of continuity/discontinuity. They don’t let the human element underneath the asphalt emerge to passerby eyes, either. Within the time-based narrative of an artist book, however, a reassuring rhythm is allowed to surface
