from Colophon:

Un Escéptico Noé was designed, printed, and bound in 2026 by the RLS team: Ian Atlas, Monique Comacchio, Keith Cranmer, Susan Filter, Becky Fischbach, Jonathan Gerken, Peter Koch, Samantha Leland, Autumn de León, Rune de León, Kate van Orden, Jennifer Osgood, Andrea Scharff, Christopher Stinehour, Pino Trogu, and Katie Walker at the CODEX Foundation’s Logan Book Arts Center.

A Skeptical Noah is newly translated by Forrest Gander. The poem and translation were handset in Bruce Rogers’s Monotype Centaur, the translator’s note and colophon were set in a digital version of Monotype Centaur, and printed from polymer plates. The title page is a mélange of unusual types in our collection. The text was printed on vintage Fabriano Umbria, with printed endsheets of Robert Serpa’s watery-green Imago paper, and wrapped in covers from the Velké Losiny mill in the Czech Republic. The cover illustration was sourced from the collage El sueño by Alberto Blanco, the wood engraving Water is by Keith Cranmer, the porcupine engraving on the endsheets are from Athanasius Kircher’s Arca Noë, Amsterdam: Apud Joannem Janssonium a Waesberge, 1675.
