Submissions for the Artist Book and Fine Press Consignment Library are now closed until the next Book Art Fair in February 2026. All works currently under consignment will be returned to artists during the 2026 CODEX Book Art Fair and new works will be accepted at that time.

Information

Our Consignment Collection is offered for sale with 75% of the proceeds going directly to the makers of the work. The CODEX Foundation uses 25% of the sales to run the program. The goal being to promote the art of the handmade book, to make the work accessible to the public, and to support the artists, printers, and publishers working in the field.

Participate in the Consignment Program

The requirements are as follows:

• Must have been an artist who has previously exhibited at one of our biennial fairs.
• Participants must have been exhibitors themselves. If someone’s work was represented by a gallery or another organization who signed up for a table, we are unable to take it at this time.
