Transportation options to the Craneway (and other venues):

- Taxi, Lyft, and Uber are the most accessible methods of transportation.

- The #74 AC Transit bus stops outside of the Craneway (check AC Transit or Google Maps for routes).

- The San Francisco/Richmond Ferry stops outside of the Craneway.

- Vehicle parking at the Craneway is free.

THE GRADUATE HOTEL (PREVIOUSLY HOTEL DURANT)

The Graduate Hotel is offering a special rate for CODEX Exhibitors so make sure to book early. Minutes from the Symposium venue, and centrally located. Restaurant and bar in hotel. Limited overnight parking available for a fee but must be reserved. The Graduate Hotel will be our CODEX Bus pick-up and drop-off location for CODEX 2022.

 

BERKELEY CITY CLUB

Our Symposium venue! Landmark building in Berkeley designed by Julia Morgan. A block from the University of California, Berkeley, this 1929 building was originally the Berkeley Women's City Club. Simple, homey rooms are furnished with antiques and do not have TVs. Suites add separate sitting areas. There's a heated indoor pool, a TV room, a modern American restaurant and a cocktail lounge. Complimentary amenities include WiFi (in public areas) and continental breakfast. 5 minute walk to the Graduate Hotel. 

 

BANCROFT HOTEL

Small, quaint hotel. Small bathrooms but clean and comfortable. Five minutes from the Symposium venue. The Bancroft is an historic building and therefore has NO ELEVATORS, just stairs. All rooms are decorated after a department at UC Berkeley. Book early and pick your theme.
